A tab on your computer
Use a Chromium browser, such as Chrome or Arc. Installed music apps are not supported.
Connect your music tab to Tinyjolt with the browser extension, then add your overlay to OBS.
Download and unzip the file. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, then choose “Load unpacked” and select the extracted folder. Pin Tinyjolt to your toolbar.
Manual ZIP installation. Chrome Web Store release coming later.
Open the Music studio, then “Connect my music”. Copy the studio address and generate a code. In the extension, choose your service and allow its exact player address, enter the studio address and code, then choose the tab to display. The code expires after two minutes and can only be used once.
Vinyl colour, appearance and visible elements: your settings are saved in your studio. Use “Sample track” to switch between the demo and your live source.
In OBS, add a “Browser” source, paste your private link and set its size to 700 × 320 pixels. Adjust the background colour and transparency in the studio. Set up audio capture separately in OBS.
Use a Chromium browser, such as Chrome or Arc. Installed music apps are not supported.
Pick a colour, adjust the opacity or make the background transparent. The checkerboard is only a preview.
Tinyjolt picks the highest resolution available and uses a fallback image when needed.
The overlay displays the track. Add your audio source in OBS too, so your audience can hear it.
Allow the artist page for Bandcamp and your country’s address for Amazon Music. Players embedded in another page are not supported. Other account types and ads still need testing.
Keep your OBS link private. If the player closes or stops responding, the overlay disappears. Revoking the extension stops it from publishing.
Generating a new link invalidates the old one: replace it in your OBS Browser source.
